For those who have never heard of this bizarre trend, it involves gradually shrinking the size of your waist by wearing an insanely-tight corset.
The practise was popular in the Victorian times but has made a comeback in recent years after the A-list have splattered their tum-sculpting attempts on social media.
Kanye West's wife Kim Kardashian was the first to jump on the trend.
The 34-year-old captioned the snap of her ridiculously tiny waist, "#hourglass #waisttraining #nophotoshopnecessary #whatawaist.com."
Kim is such a fan of corset training that she's even encouraged her sisters Khloe and Kourtney to try it.
And she inspired former glamour girl and ex-TOWIE star Maria Fowler.
The 28-year-old jumped on the bandwagon after seeing her idol Kim's snap.“If waist training is good enough for Kim, then I'm gonna give it a go”Maria Fowler
She wrote on Twitter, "If waist training is good enough for Kim, then I'm gonna give it a go."
Not only does corset training allegedly shrink your stomach, but it also accentuates your boobs.
Busty model Holly Deacon showcased her killer cleavage while wearing a bright pink corset.
She wrote, "Waist train @FBEurope."
In a bid to achieve her dream body before her wedding later this year, Luisa Zissman, 27, has also turned to the celeb-approved craze.
Corset training is also a hit with mums.
Jessica Alba revealed she'd given it a go after giving birth to her daughter and Kerry Katona, Danielle Lloyd and Alex Gerard are fans.
Mum-of-five Kerry turned to waist training after trying out countless fad diets.
Meanwhile Danielle Lloyd, who often tweets about her gym trips and healthy eating regime, decided to give it a whirl.
The 31-year-old mum-of-three shared her attempts in this grainy black and white snap.
She captioned the pic: "Just received my waist trainer from @hiddenbeautysecrets so thought I'd give it a go see what everyone is raving about."
While corset training may seem like a quick, easy body fix, celebrity personal trainer Kali O’Mard warns that is is a temporary solution.
“In a nutshell,” he said.
“All you’re doing is compressing your stomach and putting the fat elsewhere, not getting rid of it."
He adds that if you want to see long term results you need to drag yourself to the gym and eat healthily.
"I suggest you exercise, eat well and eliminate refined and processed foods from your diet.
"Then you’ll have the abs and waist of your dreams.”
