SHE'S the svelte star who we all know and love but there's more than meets the eye to Lucy Mecklenburgh.
From her Results With Lucy website to inspiring Instagram page, she's the girl we want to be.
And now Lucy has shared all of her food and exercise tips with us in her new book,
Here, we round-up the most interesting titbits.
1. She's not a big drinker
Lucy used to binge on cheap rosé, vodka and Red Bulls, sambuca and Jägerbombs but nowadays she can't stand sugary booze it: "Seriously, it makes me feel sick when I think about it.
"One night I can remember drinking 10 vodka and Red Bulls. I got home and I couldn't sleep all night because my heart was racing so much. I felt totally rubbish."
She advises laying off the booze because of the calories and how bad it is for your bod.
2. Quick fixes don't work
When it comes to diet and exercise, Lucy says quick fixes never work, and it's important to set yourself an achievable goal.
Something that helped motivate her to get fit was the thought of filming TOWIE scenes in swimwear.
"I knew that I would be wearing a bikini and needed to look good, so that became my goal.
"So put a goal in place and work towards it - that always helps with motivation," she advises.
When the star was papped in a bikini on holiday with then-fiance Mario Falcone, she was distraught.
"Those pictures devastated me," she explains. "I was so embarassed, it crushed me. I thought I looked fat and horrible.
"When I looked at those pictures, it was a massive reality check."
4. She hated being a size 12
Just like the humiliating holiday pictures, another turning point for Lucy was when she went to buy a new pair of jeans and a shop assistant asked if she needed a size 12.
She says: "I felt horrible. I was so upset at how I'd changed that I literally cried. I'm not saying size 12 is big but it just wasn't right for me."
When Lucy started working out, it was all a novelty but that soon wore off.
She feels adding small, simple exercises to your daily routine can make a big difference.
She writes: "The hard part is getting started because once it's in your routine, it feels normal.
"Decisions like taking the stairs, parking the car further away or just leaving it at home altogether - every step counts."
6. She became addicted to exercise after her break-up
Lucy's break-up with Mario Falcone had a massive effect on her life.
She says: "Instead of turning to something unhealthy that gave me a short-term fix, for once I did the right thing but - like I often do - I went too far."
In her book, she stresses the point about how being underweight is just as dangerous as being over weight.
At one stage, she was a size four and people would call her 'skinny' and 'bony': "When that started happening, it was horrible."
7. Stick to foods and exercises you enjoy
For Lucy, running on a treadmill just didn't do it for her so she found different forms of exercise such as burlesque classes and yoga.
It's far easier to choose something that you enjoy doing as opposed to something you hate. And it's all about variation.
"When I started Results With Lucy, I really wanted to focus on lots of different exercises because who doesn't feel bored doing the same things over and over?" she says.
The same goes for diets and it's vital to chow down on healthy foods that you enjoy.
The sexy Essex girl would pig out on burgers and kebabs frequently and even drink booze as she was getting ready for a night out so her weight would yo-yo out of control a lot of the time.
"It's not a healthy way to be and by fluctuating like that, your body never really knows where it stands."
9. Count nutrients, not calories
Calorie restriction can stress the body and disturb your metabolism which restricts the nutrients you need to burn body fat.
Or, in English: don't bother calorie counting because it'll get you no-where.
10. Don't do it on your own
Everyone needs a coach or friend to help them through the drastic change in lifestyle. It's a big step so make sure you get some sound advice from professionals.
Lucy relies on her exercise coach Emma to keep her looking trim and toned and she says it has been a perfect investment to make.
She adds: "Emma has made a huge difference to my quality of life.
"Not only physically changing my body but giving me a totally different mental outlook."
