Apple may have ditched an array of sensors on its new smartwatch due to issues including arm hair.
A
report from The Wall Street Journal has suggested that Apple wanted
their watch to measure a host of bodily functions, such as blood
pressure and stress levels.
But the Californian tech firm discovered problems with sensors bringing inaccurate readings.
Strap
tightness, skin types and hair all had an impact and the report says
that Apple decided not to include the sensors on its new watch.
Apple
have extremely strict standards and although these sensors have been
removed for now, they could make an appearance on future models.
Apple
will launch its tech timepiece in April and the device and will be
fitted with some fitness aids including heart rate monitor and activity
tracking.
