CHELSEA'S most fashion-conscious resident Rosie
Fortescue lets us in on the inspiration behind her new fashion
collection, her workout routine with Millie Macintosh and her obsession
with cheese.
Made up of feminine and affordable pieces that suit every body type, the 25-year-old's Spring/Summer collection is set to make big waves with fans.
Fresh from her holiday in Cape Town, we caught up with the bronzed beauty to find out more about her latest clothing line.
"The collection is super feminine, fun, summery and girly and it’s very wearable for all types of women of all shapes and sizes.
"It’s a collection that my mum’s already pointed out that she wants bits from.
"There's something there for everyone which is so important to me. I wasn’t just designing for me and my body type.
"I wanted it to be really open to everyone and I’m really happy with it."
And was there anyone in particular she could see wearing it?
"I would love to see Abbey Clancy wear something. Even though she's pregnant, she's got such an amazing body."
"I admire how she's developed herself as a brand.
"I'm all for woman working hard and being independent and self-sufficient," she tells us.
When it comes to fashion faux pas, Rosie is quick to tell us about her hatred for flesh-coloured tights.
"I think quite a few people wear flesh-coloured tights but I'd probably ban them in general."
Tights aside, the brunette beauty admits that although her clothing line is made up of a wide variety of colours and patterns, she can't resist a bit of repeat buying.
"I have about 15 cream white shirts in my wardrobe," she confesses.
"The colours are all slightly different and you can accessorise with them and really mix them up so I do repeat buy a lot."
Well, whatever floats your boat Rosie.
Despite looking out for other people's image, the chic Londoner explained how she still has to concentrate on maintaining her own look.“I just love food. I love everything about it.”Rosie Fortescue
She added: "I go to this gym near where I live with Millie (Mackintosh) actually.
"We go to classes and you do things like ballet and Pilates, it's really fun.
"I do enjoy working out, I can just zone out and it's obviously good for your body and your mind so I do enjoy it."
So you'd never think she'd even consider binging out on junk food, right?
"I'm obsessed with cheese and at the weekend I ate a whole block of cheese with chilli jam and that was just a snack," she said.
"I love banana bread too, it's my favourite.
"I just love food, I love everything about it. But I'm quite lucky because I do have a fast metabolism."
Rosie's Made In Chelsea co-star and gym buddy Millie Macintosh
also has her own clothing line out at the moment so we asked how tough
the competition is.
"To be honest our styles are different and we support each other," Rosie said.
"We'll ask each other how it's going and that sort of thing so it's nice."
And
after the success of the last Made In Chelsea holiday where the cast
jetted off to New York, we wondered if a Vegas trip might be on the
cards next?
"I mean, it would be fun."
We'll take that as a maybe. Watch this space...
