THERE will be a sequel to hit Xbox shooter Titanfall and it'll be coming to PlayStation consoles too.
The first-person shooter, which allows players to jump inside giant mech robots to battle it out online, was an exclusive for the Xbox machines and helped the "next-gen" Xbox One to shift some serious numbers of units in its early days.
But now developer Respawn is looking to maximise their chances of earning a fortune with the sequel by making it cross-platform and available for the Playstation 4.
EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, who would publish the game, didn't offer a release window.
He said: "Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven't yet announced, but we'll probably have another Titanfall game.“It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that's a huge positive for us”Blake Jorgensen, EA CFO

If a sequel is on the way, it's likely to be some way off and insiders reckon were looking at another year at least before we see anything of Titanfall 2.
Jorgensen discussed EA's plan to release blockbuster shooters annually, with Battlefield Hardline and Star Wars: Battlefront covering 2015, and Battlefield 5 likely to appear next year.
