Like every other
appearance of Korean star Lee Min Ho, his most recent visit in the
country was met with screams and shrieks from fans waiting to see and
hear him.
“Magandang gabi. Na-miss ko kayo,” the actor told the crowd gathered in front of the Greenhills Theater Mall on Feb. 24.
The Korean superstar has been here before; he came to endorse a local fashion brand and for the Asian tour of his first album.
This year, he came back again to grace the opening of the third branch of Kyochon in Greenhills. He is also named as its brand ambassador. Kyochon is a popular Korean chicken restaurant chain founded in 1991. The chain already has two branches in the country, one in Megamall and another in SM Fairview.
Coinciding with the opening was the “Fun Meet” with Lee Min Ho. Lucky fans who joined Kyochon’s Facebook promo had the chance to shake hands with the star of popular dramas Faith, The Heirs, City Hunter and Boys Over Flowers.
Although Lee Min Ho had a brief stay this time, fans will not have to wait long as his first movie Gangnam Blues is set to open in local theaters this March. He plays the role of an orphan turned mobster in the noir film set during the 1970s. It depicts the tumultuous history of real estate development behind Gangnam, Seoul’s famous district.
