The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on
Wednesday tortured two Bangladeshi cattle traders to death on Fatehpur
border in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj.
The deceased were Mohammad Sharif, 25, and Mohammad Hakim, 38, reported UNB.
Members of Sabghati BSF camp picked up the victims on Tuesday night while they were coming back home with cattle, said the UNB report.
Later, the BSF members left the victims near the Fatehpur border in critical condition.
They were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
The local people have informed the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members about the incident.
Chapainawabganj BGB-9 commander lieutenant colonel Abu Zafar Sheikh Mohammad Bazlul Haque confirmed the incident to UNB.
